Today I posted an ad for my personal mission, Dungeons & Dog Tags, on the GaryCon Facebook page. Luke Gygax, son of D&D’s creator, Gary Gygax has personally offered to help. Then the flood gates opened a dozen or more Veterans have signed up to play or DM. I started this last year after GaryCon XIII, when I was inspired to put on online D&D games for Active Duty and Veterans. There had been no movement since then and it wasn’t from a lack of trying.
The number Vets who quickly signed up and stepped up to DM, brought tears to my eyes. And to have Luke Gygax personally helping me get this off the ground is unreal.
